About KSCD

History

K-S Consulting & Design was started by Ron Kropf (retired…sort of) back in 2006 after he closed K-S Carpentry. In 2013, Ron decided he wanted to spend more time golfing, skiing and with the grandkids than he did on the computer, so he approached Don Gibbons. Don then took over the company and KS Consulting & Design (2013) Ltd. was born.

Don worked for SoftPlan Systems Inc. as a trainer, tech support specialist and software tester solving a wide range of construction & design issues from all over North America. As well, he worked part-time for several builders and design firms using SoftPlan. With 35yrs of design and 35yrs SoftPlan experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm.
